In Khashuri, a man returned home from work to find his 9-year-old son dead and his wife unconscious. According to AMBEBI.GE, the woman has been taken to the clinic in a comatose state.
According to neighbors, the man is a railway employee and was working the night shift last night. According to family members, there are no signs of violence between the mother and son, the deceased boy had underlying health problems and was receiving treatment, but he was also attending school.
At this stage, one of the unofficial versions of what happened is considered intoxication. As for natural gas intoxication, as neighbors say, representatives of the relevant services were already present and no gas or CO leakage was detected.
- “A terrible thing happened. The father wasn’t home last night, he came home in the morning and found this picture. The child was dead, the mother unconscious. They say they ate something and got sick. We don’t know anything else yet. We are in shock,” family members tell us.
As AMBEBI.GE was told by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, an investigation into the incident has been launched under Article 116 of the Criminal Code, which refers to the killing of a person by negligence.
