Murder in Khelvachauri – Man shot dead in his own car
According to the Adjara Times, a young man was murdered in Khelvachauri municipality. The incident occurred late at night, near the village of Erge.
According to locals, the young man was renting a boat to ride on the river and was sleeping in the car nearby at night.
The murdered man’s car was likely thrown into the river to cover up the crime.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained that the incident is being investigated under Articles 108 and 236 of the Criminal Code.
