Matthew and Maria Colonna-Emanuel of New York made an unexpected discovery when they found an old safe on their property. At first, they thought it was just an electrical box, but after a series of unusual events, including a deer sniffing the safe, they decided to investigate further. With some effort and the use of heavy tools, they managed to open it, but they found something that would shock them.
They found a letter addressed to a neighbor in the safe, which prompted Matthew to go to the neighbor and find out about the safe’s history. To their surprise, the neighbor revealed that the safe had been stolen during a robbery on Christmas Day 2011 and that its contents were worth approximately $52,000.
